Nobles performance was shocking....We were lucky not to concede a number of times because of his bad positions, lack of awareness, poor tackling and lack of mobility.
But he did run a lot.

I think Noble stands out for all the wrong reasons amongst this new west Ham team.
Slow, technically inferior to the rest in the middle of the park and always out of position. Him being the captain just because he has played the most games in the shirt is insulting to the players that are really capable of leading the team.

Having seen Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and even Chelsea play this season, pretty sure that Song could get in all of their starting XI's.
He'd maybe struggle at Chelsea with Matic... But he's certainly better than Mikel for my money.
It's great to have a player of that calibre in our team.
The frightening thing is Kouyate looked just as good before his injury, and Noble has excelled playing alongside both.
Could it be the best West Ham midfield of the the modern years? For my money it's certainly up there!

You ask me when FM 12 was out ,then it's a yes. However, I signed him for £7 million using cheat money on FM 14 for West Ham and he was troublesome. I had my coaches doing extra training sessions with him and he averaged a 6.54 over 14 games until I sold him in the January window when I took over Chelsea and did more cheating.
Trust me it's best avoiding Alex Song, he wasted an hour of my game time.
